MY SIGNATURE HOUSES

With the help of my brother John and close friends, we built the following houses  We began building in 1989 after building my own home in 1973. We only worked on our days off from the fire department.

1st Homeowner/Builder Job:

After building my home, I took on the challenge to assist  homeowners, to construct their new home, after they applied for a Homeowner building permit with the County Building Div.

Homeowner, Professor Hahn

University Professor assisting in the construction of his new home.

This is my first attempt at constructing a house on post and piers. All my helpers are just following my instructions to get the floor beams in place.

Exterior railings were added to the building plan that extended to the living room and master bedroom. GREAT VIEW OF THE PACIFIC OCEAN

Check the arch-ways and koa floor, up on the second floor! The arch-way was the idea of Brother John. FANTASTIC!

Beautiful breeze-way connecting the upper floor bedrooms. Breeze-way overlooks a gorgeous living room.

Living room design was not per plan. I decided on constructing an open beam ceiling, with a couple of arched windows. Outside the small window on the upper right corner is a viewing deck, accessible from the master bedroom. GREAT VIEW OF THE OCEAN!.

3rd & 4th Homeowner building projects – 2 Package homes, 1,256sf:

My brother and I built 2 houses for a fellow firefighter and a close friend. These houses set on a family property that included the home of his parents and his own home.

We vaulted the living room ceiling and I made a display cabinet that stood in front of the main entrance.

This is the first house to be built
